Juliann Kaiser, APR
Juliann is acknowledged as a pacesetter in the public relations counseling profession. Her counsel acumen draws upon more than 25 years of experience in public relations, ranging from strategic planning and marketing, to media relations, crisis and issues communications, corporate visibility and community relations programs.
She has worked in corporate, non-profit and agency settings. Formerly, she served as press relations coordinator for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Georgia; public relations director for the American Red Cross; director of communications for UnumProvident; and vice president, marketing of Professional Management Resources and the Premier Healthcare Network.. Juliann’s experience in public relations agencies includes positions ranging from group director to senior vice president at both regional and national PR firms.
She is a former national president of Women In Communications, Inc., and a former president of the Georgia Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. She also served as president of the Atlanta Chapter of Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association. Among the community organizations and activities she volunteers her time for are Kidejapa, Pink Ribbons, American Red Cross and Adopt A Golden Atlanta.
Juliann’s results-oriented work has earned numerous industry awards including being a three-time recipient of the prestigious Silver Anvil, the industry’s Oscar.
She graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism, majoring in public relations; and the equivalent of a double major in marketing.
Jan brings more than 18 years of integrated marketing and public relations experience to her clients. Her expertise includes successful work with both business-to-business and business-to-consumer clients, developing and implementing results-oriented programs which ultimately contribute to the bottom line.
The strength in Jan’s expertise comes in her ability to effectively create and manage different programs within a comprehensive marketing campaign—from media relations, to advertising, to special events, to new media communications.
In addition to her public relations and marketing expertise, Jan was a former newspaper and magazine reporter. This background contributes to her successful media relations and writing capabilities. Because she thinks like a reporter, she can develop and pitch story angles that will interest the media. Her award-winning writing talent covers the full spectrum—from white papers and web copy to bylined articles and blogs.
Her consulting background includes serving in senior management capacities with national and regional PR firms.
Jan’s exemplary business, marketing and public relations work has been recognized with eight Phoenix awards from the Public Relations Society of America, Georgia Chapter, an AMY award from the American Marketing Association and a MAX Award for marketing excellence from the Atlanta Business Chronicle and Georgia State University.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of North Texas, majoring in public relations and minoring in business.
Shelly possesses 13 years of award-winning marketing, communications and public relations experience in agency, corporate and government settings. With a specialization in health care communications, Shelly has managed dozens of national marketing/communications campaigns for pharmaceutical and medical device companies, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and a variety of health technology providers.
Shelly has provided strategic planning, media relations, branding, crisis communications, scientific and technical writing, and partnership development for a number of clients.
She worked onsite at the CDC, where she developed and implemented an award-winning health marketing campaign that increased HIV testing among African American women. During that time, she co-authored “Encouraging African American Women to ‘Take Charge. Take the Test’: The Audience Segmentation Process for CDC’s HIV Testing Social Marketing Campaign,” which was published in Social Marketing Quarterly in the Fall of 2006. She has presented at dozens of national conferences as an expert on marketing and HIV/AIDS.
Prior to working with CDC, Shelly held account management positions at three national PR firms.
Shelly received a Bachelor of Science degree in public relations with high honors from the University of Florida. She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), Georgia Chapter and Georgia BIO.
An established public relations practitioner, Charlotte brings 20 years of strategic marketing communications expertise to clients.
She has worked in both the agency and corporate worlds, creating successful national, regional and local public relations campaigns, promotions, special events and marketing communications programs. Her agency experience includes both national and regional PR firms.
Charlotte’s background includes work with national restaurant chains and consumer brands as well as various education organizations, health care facilities, law firms and real estate developments.
She graduated from the University of Minnesota with a bachelor’s degree in communications and business administration.
Director of Media Planning & Buying
Rhonda’s media planning and buying career spans 25 years.
Her career started at McCann-Erickson in broadcast buying. She then moved to the media department of Ogilvy & Mather where she worked on a number of high-profile, national accounts in the financial, restaurant, grocery and health care industries. Rhonda was the only media professional to service Ogilvy & Mather clients in both buying and planning capacities.
She has extensive experience in all media including: cable; radio; television; out of home; consumer and trade magazines; direct mail; online; and newspaper. In addition to media planning and buying, her capabilities include media research, strategy, maintenance and budgeting as well as post-buy analysis. Rhonda has bought and planned media on national, international, regional, and local levels.
Rhonda received a bachelor’s degree in advertising from the University of Illinois.
Manager of Account Services
Jennifer is integral to the Kaiser Marketing Group team, specializing in client services management and account support. She works in tandem with account teams to help coordinate clients’ public relations and marketing campaigns and related activities.
Her attention to detail helps define our ability to deliver results, service and value to clients for every campaign, every project. In addition to her experience with Kaiser Marketing Group, Jennifer’s background includes marketing and event-planning work with business-to-consumer industries in retail, interior design and home furnishings. She is an allied member of the American Society of Interior Designers.
Jennifer earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia.
